Referrals for Special Needs Caregivers

An Independent Personal Care Attendant can assist individuals with significant disabilities by providing help with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, bowel and bladder care, transfers, ambulation, and tasks that support maintaining a healthy and stable living environment. This includes meal preparation, personal laundry, light housekeeping of the client's personal areas, and other similar daily living activities.

An Independent Personal Care Attendant can also support individuals with disabilities in performing daily activities they would typically do if not for the disability. These services enhance the individual's control over their life and enable participation in activities outlined in their care plan.
